This, not that you can tell by a still photo, is my daughter about to make her fifth serve to help her team come back from behind and win the game!

Day 3 ~ ROFL

On this night my kids and I tried the new Wii Fitness Plus and apparently my attempt to make a chicken fly - ok, myself dressed as a chicken fly was so lacking in skill that my daughter literally feel off the couch and onto the floor where she continued to laugh uncontrollably. I failed my "mission" and still had time to snap a quick mobile pic before she regained composure.

Day 86 ~ Too Sweet

My kids will kill me for this when they find out but last Friday night we were home and heard a loud noise after the kids were in bed and not yet asleep that we were unable to identify. I assured the kids that all windows and doors were locked and that I was awake so they were ok to return to bed and get to sleep. Later as I ventured upstairs with the intent of snuggling with my "baby" girl I found that her bed was already full. Luckily I had my blackberry in hand and grabbed a quick pic before they woke.
Gotta love that even though they fight and pick on each other they still comfort each other when scared.

Day 83 ~ Side bangs

My daughter recently got her hair cut and bless her heart to her it was a HUGE deal (as it usually is with women and their hair) but truth be told it was not a largely noticable difference since it was long bangs and they also cut what used to be an angled bob into a straight/traditional bob. This was the first day she did her hair and wanted pics taken.

Day 67 ~ Another season over
My daughter has really enjoyed volleyball. Too many YMCA seasons for me to count (they are short seasons and with very short breaks in between not like Spring and Fall baseball that are easier to track)
All but one of her "seasons" have been with the same coach. He is truly wonderful and I will eventually post a pic of him as well and say more about him but today she spent most of her end of season party with two of her teammates. This is the treo with their trophies.
Next season starts in 3 weeks! :)

Day 59 ~ Old Fashions are back
Day 58 ~ More of the Longhorns...
Dalton has been known to climb up on the longhorn in the front of the neighborhood so much that this time Adriana wanted her turn. It took my help for her to finally make it ON to the thing but she seemed content for quite awhile to hang from his horns and mildly attempt to climb on him of her own steam!

Day 29 ~ Crazy Girl

No sooner had a posted on facebook a note that included the line: "I think I passed on my aptitude for weirdness on to my daughter" than my daughter came to me and continually did a windmill type action with one of her arms while laughing....not only was that odd enough she got my camera for me and continued to do it so I could capture the moment! :)

Day 28 ~ HA HA HA

Probably not an obvious depiction of what happened but during family dinner tonight, one particularly funny thing caused my daughter to snarfel her cola. A little came out her nose and the rest out of her mouth despite a hand over her mouth trying to keep it in. She actually had a drip off her chin that you can't see in this picture. I told her she should be glad she had just finished eating!
I'm thankful we can have as many meals as we do sitting together as a family and for the times spent around the table enjoying each others company and laughing. These are the memories I want my children to take with them into adulthood.
